Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for providing interpretation for clients accessing Catholic Charities services or services through a collaborative agency.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for providing written translations of documents if needed. Must respond appropriately to the cultural differences present among the agency’s service population.

Other Information/Requirements: 

High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of one-year experience in interpretation/translation services required, fluently bilingual in English and Swahili required; Interpreter Training preferred; multicultural experience preferred. Pay range starts at $16.48 an hour, DOE.
