Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director of Supportive Housing is the leader that focuses on further developing, supporting and building New Day’s comprehensive housing continuum for transition aged young people (ages 16-25). The continuum includes five different funding streams and four different programmatic models. Supporting program managers in building programs that align with core values and approaches of New Day is the central responsibility of the Director.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Make programmatic decisions based on New Day’s values and key approaches which include the Nurtured Heart Approach, Trauma Informed Care, Adolescent and Transition Age Development and Cultural Responsiveness.
Adjust and adapt program models, approaches and policies and procedures to meet contract agreements, best practices and programmatic goals.
Assist with grant writing, when applicable.
Represent the agency with community and government entities

Other Information/Requirements: 

Masters (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in social services, education or another related field.
5 years of supervisory experience required.
4+ years of experience working with youth that have experienced homelessness, trauma, and/or system involvement, required.
Experience working in a housing program preferred
Must be Covid Vaccinated

Salary Range: 
$55,000-$65,000 DOE
