Main Areas of Responsibility: 

To be a source of information and advocacy and emotional support for those persons left behind after a violent death: family members, loved ones, friends, coworkers, schoolmates, even for witnesses to violence.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

We provide Availablity, Information, Advocay, Support, Referrals, and Education about the needs of victim families. We strive to provide steppingstones across the bridge from vulneraity toward a positive resolution.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Our advicates are required to complete 43 hours of Victim Advocay Training (on line and you will be paid for the training) before being assigned to work with a client. Being schooled and or directly informed about the impact of trauma and about the criminal justice system is helpful.
