Support Victim Advocate

Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The SVA will work with our clients (those dealing in the aftermath of violent death, by providing time, support, information, referrals, and advocacy in the areas of grief, the criminal justice process, victim rights, and victim reparations.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Client support and group support

Other Information/Requirements: 

• High School diploma and completion of at least two years of secondary schooling (criminal justice, social work, or victimology helpful) /or a comparable work history
• Complete all required training as specified by CVRC-VOCA grant (paid training)
• Criminal History/Background check is required.
