Support Victim Advocate

Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

60 hours per month (to start) at $15.00/hr. To work directly with clients with support, advocacy, referral, and information as they deal with the aftermath of a violent death. Participate in the two client support group meetings each month. Position to open as of 6/1/21.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Produce the data necessary to track client services for monthly and quarterly reporting; attend meetings and training as necessary; and community outreach/information events throughout the year.

Other Information/Requirements: 

At least two years of secondary schooling with training in criminal justice, social work, or victimology. Spanish speaking a welcomed skill but not mandatory.
