Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Seasonal, full-time position. Daytime/evening work beginning 5/23/20 – 8/11/20. Assists in implementing activities designed to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, maintaining classroom records, cleanliness, and safety. Be able to travel to various locations for field trips or outings.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

On these occasions, public transportation or other acceptable modes of transportation may be employed. Be actively engaged and involved with children each day; including planning daily outdoor time in all ranges of temperatures or humidity levels, subject to safety guidelines. Maintain daily open communication with parents and attend in-service and staff meetings.

Other Information/Requirements: 

H.S. diploma or GED equivalent; 45 hour entry-level course required; six months of qualified experience working with children required; 1 year preferred; must have a valid NM DL with a clean driving record, bilingual in English/Spanish required; CDA-Childhood Development Associates or CDC –Childhood Development Certification preferred.
