Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Studio Coordinator will support a broad public in making art, help build a welcoming sense of community, and make art materials and techniques accessible to visitors in an outdoor, COVID-safe public art studio. General duties include setup and breakdown of tables and chairs, welcoming participants, setting them up with art supplies, ensuring necessary supplies are stocked, and accounted for introducing visitors to materials, scheduling, promoting workshops, and maintaining the space.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have interpersonal skills: having a friendly and accepting attitude to visitors is extremely important, as inviting visitors to participate and providing them with a positive experience is the central tenet of this job; organizational skills: must be able to multitask and coordinate logistics for several people at a time; a love of working with and engaging with others; an interest in art and community; and an ability to problem solve and work independently.
