Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The part-time Educator-STEAM collaborates with the Education Team to design and implement STEAM-based education programs for PreK – 6th students and/or families. The part-time position also presents educational programs in the Museum’s portable Planetarium, at the Museum, and in the Northern NM area. The Educator will occasionally support administrative tasks related to programming.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Design and deliver STEAM-based programs, including Portable Planetarium shows, Science Saturday, camps, outreach, and pop-up experiences for PreK–6 audiences. Travel to present programs, schedule school and outreach events, and maintain the Planetarium physically and technologically. Update maintenance and program procedures. Support additional Museum duties as assigned.
