Staff Attorneys

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Seeking two highly capable lawyers to join our staff in full-time permanent positions:
1) Health Care Team - implementation of Medicaid expansion; affordability gap in the ACA; and immigrant and Native American health care;
2) Labor Team working - workers’ compensation for agricultural laborers, minimum wage and labor law enforcement.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Required: Law degree and license; at least two years of experience practicing law; excellent research, writing and legal advocacy skills; ‘no-stone-unturned’ thoroughness and persistence; leadership; ability to be articulate and forceful in the face of powerful opposition; ability to problem-solve creatively; detail-orientation; strong Spanish language skills.
