Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are seeking a full-time staff attorney to join our Education Team. The focus of our education work is to keep children in high quality schools and out of the criminal justice system. We accomplish this through multiple strategies including direct representation, impact litigation, outreach and training, and policy advocacy.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must be licensed in New Mexico or eligible for a limited practice license. Must also have a demonstrated interest in working on behalf of children and youth, excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge of education and disability rights laws preferred.
