Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities: supervise the work of reproductive and health law fellows or clerks who will be working at the Center; review/monitor developments under federal and state law that impact women's rights, reproductive rights and gender discrimination; review/monitor developments under state law for opportunities and prepare legal briefs.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Requires Skills and Qualifications: Licensed attorney w/ minimum three years of litigation experience in administrative, state and federal forums; Broad general knowledge of laws affecting those living in poverty; ability to work in diverse communities; excellent communication and analytic skills; strong computer and interpersonal skills; strong organizational skills.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications: litigation in administrative, state and federal forums: 3 years (Required); legal research database and case management systems: 1 year (Required); MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint: 1 year (Required); Bachelor's (Preferred); Spanish and/or Native language fluently (Preferred).
