Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico is looking for a Staff Accountant. The SA performs grant billings, payroll, journal entries, and account & bank reconciliations under the direction of the CFO. The position also reviews accounts payable and cash receipts transactions.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Ability to manage specific deadlines is critical. Experience with Federally funded programs preferred. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a minimum 5 years of accounting experience. Excellent oral, written communication skills required. Proficiency with MS Office, including Word and Excel. Proficiency with Abila MIP preferred.
