Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Stability Support Worker plays a vital role in assisting individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or child abuse. They ensure that the Shelter remains a safe, secure, and supportive space for all residents. Requires excellent judgment, independence, crisis-response skills, and strong communication skills. Provides direct client support, crisis intervention, and daily oversight of shelter operations
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Answer the 24-hour crisis line; provide appropriate support, referrals, and transport arrangements. Always maintain a secure environment in the shelter by ensuring that all clients fully understand the security measures in the facility and by providing ongoing oversight of security measures. Perform client intakes, including orientation, safety planning, and immediate needs assessment. Encourage client independence and support them in achieving personal goals by conducting weekly goal reviews
