Main Areas of Responsibility:
Evaluates and treats speech/language disorders. Works as a trans-disciplinary team member to evaluate and implement strategies to address outcomes on IFSP’s. Provides services for children at home, and at LifeROOTS.
4Maintains required paperwork including daily notes, progress reports and evaluation reports. Prepares specialized equipment, apparatus or materials for clients as needed. Participates as a member of the trans-interdisciplinary team. Attends Individual Family Service Plan meetings.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
MA/MS in Speech/Language Pathology; State of New Mexico licensure required; membership in ASHA.
Knowledge and understanding of Early Intervention and/or NM FIT Program. Must complete required training. Participation in recent continuing education programs related to Children’s Therapy Services, per licensing requirements, Fundamental understanding of LifeROOTS, Inc. policies.
