Main Areas of Responsibility:
Providing services as defined by the NM Family Infant Toddler Program (FIT) by helping families and caregivers enhance the child understands of language development and communication skills, which may include speech, signs and gestures.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Evaluates and treats speech/language disorders. Works as a trans-disciplinary team member to evaluate and implement strategies to address outcomes on IFSP’s.
Provides services for children at home, and at LifeROOTS. Maintains required paperwork including daily notes, progress reports and evaluation reports. Prepares specialized equipment, apparatus or materials for clients as needed. Participates as a member of the trans-interdisciplinary team.
