Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Arc of NM is seeking an individual skilled in NM and Federal policy to serve in a director-level position as the Trust Administrator. The primary function of this position is to oversee the Master Trust(s) held by The Arc New Mexico on behalf of clients and/or beneficiaries: including discretionary authority; determining eligibility in accordance to Social Security and Medicaid, and investment and trust management.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Essential Duties include:
Manage pooled trust fund distributions and maintains trusts files.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial, estate, and income tax planning concepts
Meet State and Federal compliance and account administration of all Trust(s)
Keep up with SSI and Medicaid income and resource rules
Maintain accurate Trust records, and electronic systems
Supervisory duties (oversee responsibilities of Trust coordinator)

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum: of Bachelor’s degree required with minimum of 3-5 years of trust operations experience.
Preferred: Legal and financial experience preferred.
