Special Event Specialist

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for managing and supporting signature fundraising and stewardship events for the foundation with the purpose of providing critical funding for Presbyterian Healthcare Services programs. Events include the annual Laughter is the Best Medicine Gala, Daffodil Days, Physician Appreciation Dinner, and Donor Appreciation Reception just to name a few.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Responsible for the overall design, planning, production and follow-up for the high-profile and complex Special Events programs of the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation.
• Take an active role in the fundraising aspect of events including the procurement of in-kind contributions from vendors and the solicitation of corporations and individuals.

Other Information/Requirements: 

*Bachelors degree preferred or six years relevant experience in special events. Three to five years experience in fundraising or closely related field.
Essential:
* High School Diploma or GED
