Main Areas of Responsibility:
This position supports day-to-day implementation of the Soil to Supper program, working directly with livestock producers across the Southwest to support conservation practice adoption and increased market access opportunities. The program manager works closely with the Soil to Supper director to recruit, onboard, and support participating producers throughout their involvement in the program.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
A major focus of the role is providing conservation-related technical assistance to producers, including helping identify conservation goals and supporting implementation of practices related to grazing management, drought resilience, soil health, and rangeland stewardship. The program manager also assists producers in navigating NRCS processes and paperwork related to conservation funding opportunities and practice implementation.
