Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Software Tester’s job is to support the mission of Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH) by performing quality assurance testing of FCBH-developed software. The Software Tester ensures both automated and manual tests are conducted to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose; improving the quality of the finished product.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

 Analyze, organize and coordinate integrated test efforts.
 Work with Product Owner and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in developing/designing Test Cases and Test Scripts.
 Dissect processes, business documentation, software, hardware, configuration enhancements and other additions to develop Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Plans and Test Approach documentation for testing efforts.
 Develop automated tests using appropriate tools (such as Ranorex).

Other Information/Requirements: 

Required:
 Possess a minimum of 2 years of Automation testing experience.
 High attention to detail, both in following strict processes and observing minute effects
 A natural curiosity
 Ability to think logically (such as solving puzzles)
 A knack for identifying and exercising software edge cases
 Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written)
