Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Software Architect provides technical and team leadership to our Agile programming team, which designs, implements and maintains desktop, web and mobile applications. The Software Architect has advanced technical knowledge in all areas of software development, analysis and design, and possesses an ability to develop a unified technical vision for our software. Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide technical team leadership
Proactively engage and contribute to team efforts in designing, implementing, deploying, and improving multiple programs and services which integrate globally to fulfill our mission
Propose ideas for improvement based on emerging standards, technologies, and practices - demonstrating a commitment to on-going learning and innovation
Work closely with the Technology Development leadership in a team environment

Other Information/Requirements: 

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or several years of directly related experience
At least 8-10 years in an application development role with demonstrable experience in architecting and designing
Expert software debugging and testing knowledge
Preferred:
Experience in mobile application development for Android or iOS
Experience in testing, test-driven design, continuous integration and cross-platform environments
