Social Services Program Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Achieves the program objectives by planning, directing, monitoring and evaluating the daily operation of all program functions and staff. Ensures program activities and services are executed in accordance with program goals and applicable GINM, federal and state policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Directly supervises program staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities includes interviewing, hiring and training employees; providing feedback and coaching; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; with addressing complaints and resolving problem.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must pass a criminal background check and drug test. Must have a valid NM driver’s license, liability insurance, insurability under agency insurance carrier, dependable vehicle/ clean driving record. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services related fields, Masters preferred. Licensure and/or certifications as appropriate; experience working with people with barriers or disabilities.
