Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Shelter Director needed to provide overall oversight of homeless shelter. Daytime hours with support from Shelter Manager covering evening meals. Ability to oversee multiple staff and volunteers. Treat clients with dignity and respect while maintaining a safe campus.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Ability to order food for meals in partnership with chef; reporting to funders on quarterly and as needed basis; Excellent supervisions skills for managing staff.

Other Information/Requirements: 

BA in human service related field preferred. Experience may be substituted for degree if applicant has significant experience with homeless/mentally ill population in a shelter environment (meals, showers, mail, storage, laundry ovesight).
At least 3 years working with homeless/mentally ill clients
