Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Senior Programs Manager enhances and manages programs that serve seniors and Holocaust survivors. The services and activities addressed by this position include home and facility visits, information and referral services, case/care management, social recreational activities, and volunteer management.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Case management for Holocaust survivors including, but not limited to, assessments, care planning and implementation, and social support. Plans and implements quarterly gatherings for Holocaust survivors. Conducts home visits to Jewish seniors, facilitates access to supportive services, manages volunteers, and helps maintain a connection with the Jewish community for those who are isolated.

Other Information/Requirements: 

3-5 years’ experience in related field required. Master’s degree in social work or related field strongly preferred. Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Able to build relationships with persons for whom trust is not easily gained. Proven skills in MS Office Suite. Uses initiative, is resourceful, and creative-minded. Knowledge of Albuquerque community resources, Judaism, and the Jewish community.
