Senior Clinical Contracts Specialist

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under limited supervision, the Specialist represents the UNM Medical Group, Inc., the UNM Hospitals, and UNM Health Sciences Center in the negotiation and processing of complex, high-value clinical contracts with a wide variety of health care agencies, programs, and private businesses with an emphasis on Indian Health Services (IHS) and Veteran's Affairs (VA).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Specialist serves as the principal point of liaison and expert resource for contractors, UNM customers, and organizational leadership.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least 8 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. A completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
