Senior Clinical Contract Specialist

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under limited supervision, represents the UNM Medical Group, Inc., the UNM Hospitals, and UNM Health Sciences Center in the negotiation and processing of complex, high-value clinical contracts with a wide variety of health care agencies, programs, and private businesses with an emphasis on Indian Health Services (IHS) and Veteran's Affairs (VA). Serves as the principal point of liaison and expert resource for contractors, UNM customers and organizational leadership.

Writing Sample Required: Cover letter should include a detailed description relating the applicant's professional experience to the listed job qualifications. Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; or successful completion of at least 60 hours college level credit with 7 years of directly related experience. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
