Main Areas of Responsibility:
Payroll oversight, processing and all grant accounting functions: reporting, AP oversight and assisting with admin of Finance Dept.’s accounting and financial analysis systems. Routine accounting and other work including general ledger and auditing. Develop and improve processes of contract management, inventory control, fixed assets and related functions. Ensure agency complies with legal requirements. Analyze financial information and balance and reconcile accounts.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Advanced computer literacy and utilization of various Microsoft applications including Excel is required in order to provide reporting and analytical tools to the Finance staff. Knowledge of Commensurate Wage rules highly preferred. Must have the ability to provide exceptional customer service, display strong attention to detail, have the ability to manage multiple projects and/or problems as they arise, and meet established deadlines.
