Scripture Engagement Data Analyst

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

A full-time position available for a Scripture Engagement Data Analyst to lead the ministry’s efforts in collecting, analyzing, and presenting Scripture engagement data, including data from ministry’s Digital Bible Platform, web and mobile apps, and related data from partners.
 Gather and understand the ministry’s and its partners’ needs for quantitative information to support decision-making and communication with others
 Establish analytics capabilities from multiple sources

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

 Ensure that data collection, analysis, and interpretation is accurate and appropriate
 Serve as key analytics interface, providing reports and dashboards for presentations, proposals, and decision-making
 Serve as key analytics interface with partners; developing common dashboards and data standards to facilitate data sharing and consistent interpretation
 Review, select, and integrate supplementary datasets to increase understanding and partnership

Other Information/Requirements: 

 Experience with data analysis, interpretation, and presentation (web and mobile analytics, using tools such as Splunk, Elasticsearch, R, Microstrategy, SQL)
 Statistical or technological degree or relevant work experience
 Team player and multi-disciplinary team builder
 Excellent interpersonal communication skills
 Passion for the Bible cause
 Ability to work cross-culturally, demonstrating respect, grace, and patience to all
