Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

We have a full-time, scientific journal editor position open in the Communications Department. This position is responsible for managing the production of the ASRT scientific journal Radiologic Technology, as well as performing and delegating research, writing and editing assignments for Radiologic Technology and Radiation Therapist. The individual also writes and edits for other ASRT publications and communication vehicles when necessary.

Other Information/Requirements: 

•BA in English, professional, technical writing, journalism & 3-5 yrs. strong writing/editing.
•ELS or AMWA certification.
•Familiarity with AP and AMA editorial styles.
•Intermediate MS Office skills; Adobe InCopy, electronic submission systems and online journal hosting platforms.
•Familiarity with publication production schedules.
•Ability to collaborate with several departments and diverse personalities.
•Ability to interact with, guide and mentor authors and colleagues.
