School Based Social Worker

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

La Familia-Namaste is seeking two full-time School-Based Social Workers. Both positions would be responsible for providing social work services to the high risk teenage student population, one at RFK Charter School and one at the Middle School.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Applicants must have a Social Work License and a Masters of Social Work Degree. Direct social work experience working with adolescents and families is also required.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Substance abuse experience or an interest in working with that population is preferred. Spanish speaking is also preferred. The substance abuse social worker should be willing to work in a residential environment that would include some evening and weekend hours.
