Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position requires work within the frame work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul mission and thrift store objectives. The store manager will have profit and loss responsibility for the store.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Must have the ability to learn, apply and interpret policies related to the operation of the thrift store. Communicate effectively with staff, members of SVDP, and the general public. Deal effectively and openly with staff, achieving results through positive human relationships.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Example of Duties:
Will establish profit and loss goals for the store and work toward their achievement.
Responsible for all cash management in accordance with SVDP policy with regard to bank deposits, daily receipts and preparation of cash register, etc.
Additionally:
Background check required.
B.A. in Business and/or retail store experience.
