Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Santa Fe Director of Development is responsible for procuring major gifts and supervising the Santa Fe annual giving, membership and event programs. This position will work closely with board members and the development staff to identify and qualify new prospects, maintain board and staff portfolios, and actively cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift donors.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Creates and maintains a personal annual portfolio of 150 individual and corporate prospects and donors. Donor strategies include: identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects and donors via one-on-one meetings, telephone conversations, written correspondence, and emails.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires a college degree and minimum 3-5 years’ experience in development, with demonstrable experience in direct major gift solicitation.
