Safe Home/Drop-in Center Director

Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Full Time, $50,000-$60,000. Be part of a dynamic leadership team that is involved in building and strengthening the cultural environment of New Day through implementation of its core values and programmatic approaches. Provide leadership that supports the Safe Home (youth crisis shelter) and Youth BLAST (drop-in Center and street outreach).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Employee Supervision/Support
*Provide supervision, support and leadership development to Program Managers and other direct reports staff
*Make all hiring decisions regarding Program Managers and support in hiring other staff as needed
*Address discipline issues as they arise and actively participate in all decisions about performance improvement plans, terminations, etc.

Other Information/Requirements: 

*Work with Program Managers to implement, update and develop policies and procedures and other program support documentation that are in alignment with core principles and maintain safety for all three programs: Safe Home, Drop-in Center and Street Outreach
*Ensure all regulatory requirements (CYFD, pharmacy, etc. ) are met.
