Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Scope of Work:
The role of the Rural Organizer is to implement grassroots organizing activities that involve raising awareness of and implementing community storytelling related to the impacts of uranium mining and pollution in McKinley and Cibola Counties, with an emphasis on a partnership with Indigenous communities. This contract will span from September 2017 through March 2018.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Job activities include: conduct and capture storytelling through face to face conversations, canvassing, phone banking, facilitating meetings, creating presentation material, and organizing a public forum.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This is a temporary, contract position.
