Resource Families Program Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for building a sense of community among Resource Parents, CYFD and community supports. They will work with the Director of Family Supports to fully develop and realize this new program The Program Manager will work to empower the Coordinator in their direct work with the Resource Families.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

- Build cross agency teams with system partners, enhancing relationship for the purpose of Resource Families growth as well as youth development and stability.
- Collaborate with Coordinator and Resource Families to build relationship and enhance Resource Families’ knowledge of strengths and areas of growth as a professional parent

Other Information/Requirements: 

Facilitate once monthly community building groups with Resource Parents – to explore professional development areas such as: problem solving, growth of Inner Wealth, practice of trauma informed care and Nurtured Heart Approach, as well as building community with each other. Attend interviews for Resource Families applying to be in the program.

How to Apply: 

• Rate of Pay: $36,000-$46,000
• Must be 24 years of age or older
• Bachelor’s Degree in social services or a related field
• Must have 2-4 years of experience working with youth or families who are systems involved
• Must have more than 1 year of supervisory experience
• Personal/professional experience with foster families, preferred
