Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position provides direct and non-direct services to shelter residents. Services include, but are not limited to, case management, community and social advocacy, education and support, crisis intervention, informal counseling, and transportation. This position supports our incoming crisis calls and provides callers with information about domestic violence, and other community support services.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 
Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires an Associates Degree in a human service-related field. The Specialist must be empathetic and compassionate in all interactions with shelter residents, with a working knowledge of trauma-informed support and strength-based support.
