Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Resident Advocate provides services to resident and non-resident which include, but are not limited to, crisis intervention, transportation, informal counseling, support information about domestic violence, liaison with social services, medical and legal entities. Supervises resident activities and services.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
*Collaborates with the Resident Advocate Lead to ensure that the highest quality and most relevant services are provided to the residents and non-residents of the agency.
*Provides for the safety and security of the residents, staff and facility.
*Maintain a consistently respectful, courteous, positive, cooperative, courteous and professional demeanor with residents, coworkers, donors and others.
*Provides coverage of the crisis phone line and logs calls in accordance with agency policies.
