Research and Policy Analyst/KIDS COUNT Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

New Mexico Voices for Children is seeking a full-time research and policy analyst to conduct research and advocacy on public policies that create opportunities for children and families in the state and to help coordinate the KIDS COUNT project at NM Voices. This analyst is expected to be familiar with data sources and quantitative and qualitative research methods, and will be the lead analyst for the KIDS COUNT project.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated knowledge of data on and public policies that advance health, education, economic security, and racial and ethnic equity in New Mexico. To effectively accomplish this work, candidates should have at least a bachelor’s degree, strong data and research skills, public policy knowledge and experience, an ability to work collaboratively, and willingness to travel.
