Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Full-time position available for a Render Technical Support person to support the development and implementation of oral Bible translation software called Render. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Render technical support; Communicating with Bible translation partners, interfacing with Render design and programming staff concerning software issues, and training others to provide support.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Maintaining all facets of Render software, including workflow, processes, and syncing.
• Take ownership of all technical issues, help partners troubleshoot and provide assistance to resolve the issue.
• Developing and implementing training workshops.
• Creating and maintaining support helps.
• Preparing reports on activities.
• Providing local transportation, meal coordination, ministry tours and other services to guests as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Competency in interpersonal and cross-cultural communication.
• Skilled problem solver.
• College or technical school degree in a related subject, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in help desk and/or technical support; proficient in at least one help desk software.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
• Proficient in TeamViewer or other remote support software.
