Main Areas of Responsibility:
Review and provide input to customized nutritional programs based on the health needs of clients to improve their health through nutrition. Assist in the planning, development and review of policies and procedures regarding dietary service standards, therapeutic diets and make recommendations as to problem resolution.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Ensure meals being provided meet the nutritional needs of the residents in accordance with the current USDA dietary guidelines for all Americans
• Provide monthly and quarterly written reports regarding review of facility services and make recommendations for program improvements, as needed
• Assist facility leadership with preparing for health inspections
