Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible to develop contracting opportunities, which create employment for New Mexicans with disabilities, primarily in the northern and central part of the state.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Develop mission-driven sale programs and marketing initiatives for central and northern New Mexico.

Market and develop contract opportunities with state and local agencies.

Work with small businesses and nonprofits to develop proposals to submit to customers.

Meet regularly with area stakeholders in the region.

Recruit new qualified small businesses and nonprofits to increase employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Experience and/or Education: Professional experience in sales (including fundraising), relationship management, or business development; higher education in the field of business, marketing, or similar field; or a combination of experience and education.

Preferred Experience and Education: Preference is given to applicants with bachelor’s degrees in business, marketing, or similar field; experience selling services or products to State agencies; experience working with individuals with disabilities.
