Main Areas of Responsibility:
This position works closely with program staff and Directors to recruit Corpsmembers on a recurring seasonal basis in addition to recruiting staff as needed. This position is a full cycle recruiting position and responsible for filling all positions, which includes creating and implementing recruitment campaigns, preparing and revising position descriptions and guiding Corpsmembers and staff in completing onboarding in ADP, our HR and onboarding software.
Understanding of Americorps programs and compliance with federal requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in social media applications
Skilled in developing and implementing recruitment plans
Knowledge of local and regional labor markets and ability to prepare recruitment plans to attract qualified candidates
At least two (2) years of experience with recruiting volunteers and/or staff. Education may substitute for some experience but not in its entirety
