Public Benefits Team Director or Supervising Attorney

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position will address hunger and strengthen public assistance programs for children and families in New Mexico, including SNAP, TANF, childcare assistance, and Medicaid. This position will lead the Public Benefits Team’s work with community and family leaders to increase access to income, food, and other basic needs for New Mexicans.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Demonstrates a deep understanding of and relentless commitment to NMCLP’s mission, and economic and racial justice for New Mexico’s communities.
Passionate about Public Benefits and/or eager to become an expert in this area.
Law degree and 5 years experience for Team Director; law degree and 3 years experience for a Supervising Attorney.

Salary Range: 
The typical salary range is $92,000-$115,000 for Team Director and $86,000-$110,000 for Supervising Attorney, dependent on experience.
