Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

To serve as the BBBS-CNM location contact for Tribe and tribal programs by providing program services and direction to assist Tribal Governments involvement with BBBS-CNM. Establish and promote effective working relationships among the tribe and Big Brothers Big Sisters to develop and establish the Native American Mentoring Program. Provide technical assistance, information, training, contacts and support to further the goals of the Native American Mentoring Initiative at Alamo.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Maintaining and/or engaging identified tribal community in the Native American Mentoring Initiative at San Felipe by recruiting children and volunteers, processing these applicants per BBBSA standards and procedures and following up when required.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree req; Minimum of 5-yrs professional experience working with tribes, community groups, state/federal government and private organizations at a state or national level in tribal government, tribal law, sovereignty and related issues. Native American Tribal member is preferred.
