Projects and Events Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation is seeking a Projects and Events Coordinator to assist in all aspects of administration and project/events coordination. The person will promote a positive image of the Foundation through their work with NHCC Foundation staff, NHCC staff, community members, donors and Board of Trustees.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Coordinate Board and committee meetings; Issue invoices and facilitate payment requests; Perform prospect research, manage database and processing of gifts; Oversee store and vendor sales, contracts and inventory; Coordinate multiple projects and events involving members and donors; Promote the NHCC Foundation giving programs through various communications and fundraising proposals

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree or 4+ years of administrative/customer service experience
• MS Office skills with experience in databases
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and solid attention to detail
• Passionate about the NHCC mission

Preferred Qualifications:
• Non-profit experience
• Undergraduate degree preferred in business, communications, or related field
