Project Coordinator for Making Connections: Int'l District, a Multi-Org Partnership

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Serve as the lead to support the Making Connections:International District (MC:ID) Alliance in meeting goals and implementing activities detailed in the Actionable Plan. Tracks project progress and reports status. Serve as liaison between MC:ID Alliance, Young Men Of Color (YMOC), community leaders, current and potential funders, and project evaluators. Ensure the vision and mission of the MC:ID Initiative is adhered to.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Ensure that all activities support the social and emotional well-being of YMOC in the International District. Ensure young people participating the MC:ID Initiative have the tools, support and resources necessary to succeed. Maintains youth at the center of the MC:ID Initiative as leaders, decision makers and visionaries.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or four (4) years equivalent experience in social change work.
• Experience in community organizing, positive youth development, civic engagement and project management
• Non-profit work experience preferred
• Connection to the International District
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and equality initiatives
• Progressive perspective relating to social justice and systems change
