Main Areas of Responsibility: 

NMAFC is hiring for a Project Coordinator for Ending Gender-Based Violence who will be responsible for establishing and managing relationships between NMAFC and local Pan-Asian communities on sexual assault and domestic violence. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing initiatives for young womxn, such as NMAFC Tea Talks gatherings, as well as coordinating the Resting Circle program.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Represent NMAFC to the public, key stakeholders and business partners when necessary and as part of project deliverables; collaborate with community members and groups to strengthen and expand NMAFC’s programs, including Tea Talks and Resting Circle; provide case management to clients, as needed; responsible for outreach and advocacy for SA issues within the Asian community and dissemination of information; conduct and report on assigned project deliverables

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, plus one to two years of directly related experience preferably working in a nonprofit capacity. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted, as long as it relates to the essential duties and responsibilities.
