Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The goal of the grant is to develop culturally sensitive educational and outreach materials for the Aging Network and American Indian/Alaska Native Elders, 55 and older. The work will include assisting and supporting the work of the Project Coordinator, and primarily will focus on office procedures, updates for the NICOA website, development of partnerships with other agencies and outreach to NICOA members through phone, email and other means.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Requirements: verifiable relevant experience in office procedures (Microsoft Office, mailing, phone work) web page maintenance, data collection and entry, ability to travel, valid driver’s license and auto insurance, initiative, ability to solve problems resourcefully, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn or receive training to improve skills.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Preference may be given to American Indian/Alaska Native applicants in accordance with the exemption authorized by Section 703(i), Title VII, Civil Rights Act of 1964. This position is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is contingent upon availability of funds.
