Programs Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Program Director contributes to the fulfillment of the mission of Meals on Wheels (MOW). He/She will be responsible for the operational success of MOW ensuring seamless team management and development, program delivery, and quality control and evaluation. The Program Director will be a key external face of MOW in the community.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for the marketing, administration, delivery and reporting of various programs including Meal Delivery, Low Income Food and Enrichment (LIFE), Pet Program, Volunteer Program and others. Responsible for managing two employees who assist with programs implementation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience including:
• Three years experience in working with volunteers
• Three years experience in program coordination and supervision
Excellent organizational skills and efficient use of time
Proven history of:
• excellent customer service
• accurate and quality work
• public speaking skills
MUST have excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
