Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is seeking to hire a Programs and Projects Officer for the Albuquerque, NM based national non-profit headquarters office, www.aises.org.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The successful candidate will impact the educational and career success of all segments of the AISES membership, ranging from middle school through professionals, with a focus on increasing the participation in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) among Native Americans, Alaska and Hawaiian Natives. Duties include identifying member needs; designing, evaluating and implementing a portfolio of program and projects and researching and writing proposals for grants for the portfolio.

Other Information/Requirements: 

A minimum of BA/BS, Master’s degree preferred. Two years’ experience in a similar role, four years in non-profit or association sector.
