Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region seeks a positive, engaging and results oriented Program
Specialist. Essential to the BBBS brand, primary functions of this position are to ensure that children
and volunteers are appropriately enrolled and supported while executing a high degree of independent
judgment when utilizing BBBS standards and practices. Requires a high-level customer service, focusing
on volunteer options and child safety.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This role pairs volunteers and children in 1:1 matches, with the utmost regards to child safety at all times; conducts and reports regularly scheduled Match Support contacts with the volunteers, children, and parents/guardians; and meets standards in the five key elements of quality: child safety and well-being, match relationship development, coaching and support, match goals/outcomes, and adherence to the Service Delivery Model.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This role requires an ability and willingness to work on with a flexible schedule to suit the needs of the clients; viable transportation, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance; a bachelor’s degree with one year of relative experience, either from employment or internship; and an ability to effectively utilize an internal database system for tracking and recording information. Bilingual- Spanish/English is preferred.
